Well it’s interesting to know that I said Map reading is the best and people with Sat Nav’s are lazy!
I have spent a lot of years reading maps and planning how to get places, whilst being in the Military planning and route finding was a priority for me, I also found it rewarding to drive to somewhere having spent time looking and plotting how to get there, why would I use a sat nav!
So really it’s all about belief at the end of the day, I know what I know – so am I really saying there is also so much I do not no?
After I had reviewed my beliefs and realised that Challenges were what I liked and doing things the easy way were classed as negative – Oh we needed to change this pretty quickly – Life is easy and why should I waste my valuable time messing around and making things difficult?
I received a sat nav at Christmas and I realised that although it’s great to be able to map read – yeah there is a much easier way to spend you’re time. Also there are things which I had not taken into consideration:
Speed cameras, diversions, up to date arrival times, current distance to location and much more.
I had even more fun following the route and listening to the nice lady on the machine!
So what I’m really saying is – My original opinion was based around an old belief and the lesson for me was to review how I live my life and what I can do to make it more enjoyable and finding way’s to make the most of my time is very important.
Check your belief’s and Values and make sure there beneficial to giving you what you deserve.
